Sailing Yacht Knysna - 2.5hr Lunch cruise Voucher

Activity Description

If you enjoy sailing, this experience, followed by a delicious lunch, is the perfect way to bring a little luxury into your Knysna adventure. This activity also provides an ideal way to view the spectacular scenery and marine life of the world-renowned Garden Route coastline. The route takes you over the Knysna lagoon, through the impressive Knysna Heads and out into the true freedom of the open ocean. After a magnificent sail, we return to the calmer waters of the Knysna Estuary and serve a delicious feast of Mediterranean style cuisine. All our trips are ocean going trips and are weather and sea conditions dependent. Only the skipper of the vessel can make a judgement call on these conditions which are determined on the day of the charter. Conditions are influenced by tide, wind direction & speed and sea swell, therefore going out through the Knysna Heads is never guaranteed.

We went for our 2 1/2 hr cruise After sailing out in the beautiful bay we headed out to the headland to go to sea Heading to 2 1/2 m waves lashing at the rocks on with life jackets!! It was a fabulous feeling with such an amazing skipper. Just hold on tight!! We stayed out for a short time before returning through the head into calmer waters seeing dolphins ? on our way back in We anchored up in calm inland waters and 2 of us swam off the back of the boat and then laid out on the rear deck was a beautiful spread of tapas bread cheese meat fruit etc. We purchased drinks and arrived back to the quayside after 2 1/2 hrs Loved the trip - Anne Burton-Gow

As a disabled person Knysna is not a disabled friendly place. However, our Boat trip with Sandy and his Crew was exceptional . Having been sailing most of my adult life it was very thrilling to go out the heads, and we all felt very secure. The buffet was delightful, and our son who was over from Paris was also really really was in awe of the ocean and the sharks. We did many things whilst he was here but that was the one trip he talks about most. I cannot thank Sandy enough for making it such a very successful trip, I had thought I would never do that again and I did. Thank you. - Toni Fowler
