Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors!
Run the river with AfriCanyon, navigate through the river shallows, swim through natural tannin coloured fresh-water mountain pools, maneuver down water slides and abseil waterfalls as you dip down into the river gorge.

Our experience was fantastic! We had the best couple of hours pushing our adrenaline to the max (in a safe way, of course). Africanyons have a great set up, providing all the gear needed. The operation is super slick, fun and memorable. Our tour guide, I can't remember his full name but it ended with "zzzzzzz" was so funny and kept us having fun. Would 100% recommend it! - Ella
What an experience! Not much of a fan of heights and wanted an experience that will get me out my comfort zone. This was by far an experience that can't be done once. Darren and Steph made our safety and comfortability a priority, along with a bit of humor to calm the nerves. The best part for me was jumping in the rock pools and just exploring the amazing views that nature presents. The guides were very patient and made sure we were safe and most importantly had fun. I think it's great value for the experience, can't wait to come back and do it again and loved the route aswell, keep up the good work African Canyon! - Samuel
